Sammy has been doing therapy the longest of any of our horses and he is the best at it. He loves to give the kids hugs after they dismount. Oreo Oreo is a 12 year old 14.2 hand Arabian/Paint cross. Because of his coloring, he is sometimes called the cow by some of the kids. Gordon Gordon is a big Quarter Horse, standing 15.3 hands. His favorite things to do are eat, sleep, and stop. He loves doing therapy because he is a very lazy horse. He is currently our oldest horse at 18. Cappi Aka Captain Hook was purchased for the farm by Delane Clark. He stands 13.1 hh and moves like an English Country Pleasure pony. Is great for our smaller passengers. Hamilton Hamilton is also known as Hami. He is about 14.2 hands high and is a POA (Pony of the Americas). Hami, age 7, was a rescue pony and is loving his life here at Shining Hope Farms. Samson Samson is also a Welsh pony, standing at 14.1 hands. He is 7 years old and a former hunter show pony. Grady Grady is Oreo’s half brother, and is close to the same height. He is a very willing pony and will do anything you ask of him. He is 13 years old. Dunkin Dunkin is a Quarter Horse who was originally born in Colorado. He is 9 years old and 15.2 hands high. Moe Moe is a 15 year old Paint/Thoroughbred cross who absolutely loves therapy. He is a big baby in the arena and really enjoys his job.
